Stratoworks is a UK ecommerce and software consultancy. Small team. Deep expertise. Twenty-plus years building production-grade systems for businesses that have outgrown simple solutions.
We’re not an agency that scales with headcount. We’re a consultancy that stays close to the work. Senior people, no layers, and direct access to the person actually building your system. That’s deliberate. It’s how we keep the quality of work high and the noise low.
Stratoworks Ltd is registered in England and Wales. We operate MediDev medical device ecommerce platform as a specialist brand for medical device commerce and we’ve built and run PracticeBookr, a SaaS booking platform for independent healthcare practices.
What we believe
How we think about work
We’re a technical partner, not a supplier. There’s a difference. A supplier takes a brief and delivers to spec. A partner pushes back when the spec doesn’t make sense, offers a better approach when one exists, and stays involved long after launch.
We build for the long term. Most of our client relationships have run for years — one has run for twenty. We don’t chase project handoffs. We’d rather build something properly and maintain it than move on to the next pitch.
Systems should work the way the business works, not the other way around. If your processes are being bent to fit your software, something’s wrong. We start with the business, not the technology.
And we believe in simplicity — but not at the expense of getting it right. Simple doesn’t mean basic. It means no unnecessary complexity. Every decision justified. Nothing in there just because it was easier to include than to think through.
The founder
Ashley Goodman
I’ve been building ecommerce and software systems for over twenty years. Global clients, complex platforms, the kind of work where getting it wrong has real consequences. I started Stratoworks because I wanted to do that work properly — with the right amount of time, the right level of attention, and without the overhead of a big agency machine.
In 2021 I moved to Devon with my family. I’m based on the coast now — raising my kids by the sea, surfing, sailing, and taking in the salt air in between creating results for a global client base. It’s a deliberate choice. Quality of life and quality of work aren’t opposites. I’ve got the headspace to think properly about problems, the experience to solve them, and the kind of settled focus that comes from not chasing the next thing.
What we’ve built
Selected work
C-Pro Direct — a twenty-year ecommerce partnership for a medical device company. Multi-channel B2B/B2C platform, ERP integration, and commercial infrastructure that survived acquisition due diligence. Delivered through MediDev.
Regico — a corporate services platform with ecommerce, order management, and Companies House integration. Built for compliance. Still running.
PracticeBookr — our own SaaS product. Online booking and practice websites for independent healthcare practitioners. Designed, built, and operated by Stratoworks.
Plus work across healthcare, professional services, and other sectors that we can’t share publicly.
